Translator of all novels and fiction. Proofreading and rewiting/cultural adaptation.

Translation of 7 publications and one as yet unpublished novel: Joseph the Great Servant - 76,000 words; A Portrait of Death - 52,500; You Too Can Write a Romance Novel - 52,000 words; God's Little Secrets - 44,000 words; Lost Heritage - 80,000 words; The Heretic's Fire - 40,000 words; and The Dead Man's Book (48,000 words). In addition to the straight translation of novels, I have proofread, rewritten and culturally adapted other works. Cultural adaptations have meant changing the context from an Iberian Spanish situation to situations appropriate to both UK and USA contexts. This involved not only adapting, but also re-writing many parts myself. 

I am also very interested in editing and proofreading translations of novels and fiction into English as part of a team of translators.

MA in Translation Studies (distinction) specialising in Spanish translation; BA SPANISH and Business (1st class); Post Graduate Cert in Education Teacher of Spanish. I taught Spanish and French, and still mark the national exams of the UK (GCSEs) in Spanish and French for a national exam board (EDEXCEL). 

I have been both a rugby player for 25 years, which included extensive weight training and bodybuilding over a long period of time.
