Hi! I am an English-Portuguese translator from Brazil! I am also a Physics and English teacher.

Master's degree, Bachelor's degree and licensure in Physics from Universidade de São Paulo.

Teaching license in English from Faculdade Cultura Inglesa.

My working languages are Brazilian Portuguese and English (I have CAE from Cambridge University). I have been teaching English for the past 19 years. I have a teaching license in Physics from Universidade de São Paulo. I am also a bachelor and I have a Master's degree in Physics from the same institution.  Regarding English, I am currently in the last year of Faculdade Cultura Inglesa's university course in English. I am also taking two post-graduation courses in Translation (Textual and Audiovisual) from Universidade Estácio de Sá.

Concerning my experience in literary translation, I have been translating a book from Portuguese to English called "Unveiling". It was written by a Brazilian writer.

I currently teach English at Anglo Leonardo da Vinci (Alphaville, São Francisco, Osasco), Anglo Guarulhos and Colégio Mater Amabilis (Guarulhos). I teach from the 8th grade (junior high) to the 3rd year of high school. 

In relation to my subtitling experience, I have subtitled institutional videos for the Brazilian agency Tradumedia International(http://www.tradumediainternational.com.br/). The videos mostly concern the pharmaceutical industry (Novartis, Acelity and Respimat). Furthermore, I have subtitled some videos on pneumology and rheumatoid arthritis. I also perform technical translation for other agencies: LatinTrad (https://latintrad.com/), Ahead(https://aheadtranslation.com) and Uno Traduções (http://www.unotraducoes.com.br/pt-BR/bem-vindo), which are particularly devoted to medicine and business. I have also subtitled a movie that is going to be aired in July (Eldorado. Mengele: Vivo ou Morto - https://www.facebook.com/eldoradomengelevivooumorto/). In relation to subtitling softwares, I use Subtitle Edit. 

Regarding dubbing translation, I have translated two episodes of "Million Dollar Homes" for Voxx. Moreover, I have translated episodes of a Turkish soap opera from Alcateia (The Price of Passion). Such product has been broadcast by the ZAP channel in Angola and Mozambique. I have also been translating episodes of a Turkish TV series called Istambul Gelim for Sigma.

Finally , I will start studying Interpreting and comic strip translations at Brasillis (http://www.brasillis.com.br/) in August.
