Jessica is a new vampire made by her husband Jonathan and she is finding there is more to it then she had thought. There are many wonders and she has discovered she has gifts that came with her transformation. Jonathan however has to help her learn the rules and with the help of his other vampire friends she discovers this life can be amazing but you also have to be careful. One of her gifts she feels may have given her more then she has bargained for.

I have had some success with this book and good reviews. At my signings people seem to buy it in the trilogy set rather then as a single book.

fantastic
Jessica waited patiently while Devon fed and when he offered she gladly accepted. She sank her teeth into the girl’s neck and drank slowly and on Devon’s cue she stopped and moved to the next girl.
“Pretty soon I wont have to tell you when to stop, I am hoping you will have this down so if Jon ever tests you he will be pleasantly surprised at your restraint.” Devon told her
“Its hard to stop it tastes amazing from a live human it reminds me of penny’s though” Jessica told him
“Yes it does doesn’t,” he said “However I will show you a trick and this one is straight out of the movies if we apply our blood to the holes on the neck they heal and only look like bug bites and by tomorrow they will be gone. Some vampires can feed so gently that they only leave what appears to be bug bite marks but some of us haven’t mastered that yet.” Devon told her.
“Jonathan mentioned something about that to me about the feeding gently part. He told me once that I am unusual because my eyes are green and I have an ability.” Jessica mentioned
“Well yes most of us have black eyes but I guess you are special. What ability do you have?” Devon asked
“I can read thoughts but I haven’t figured out how to block it out so I haven’t been listening because it gets overwhelming” Jessica told him
“Amazing I have never met an actual vampire who has such a gift. Can you hear vampire and human alike?” Devon asked
“Yes but not all” Jessica replied
