Recent graduate with a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish with a concentration in Translation. Literary translation allows me to share the experiences in one culture, and to show the beauty of it in another language.

Translation breaks down some of the barriers that separate the languages and cultures that define me. I had dedicated years of my life to the study of the Spanish language. With the recommendations of many, I decided to pursue my love of languages in college where history, literature, art, and politics drew me to an undergraduate degree in Spanish and two minors in Latin American and International Studies. The bilingual and bicultural knowledge that I have obtained though my coursework and my surrounding community have connected me with people from all over Latin America.  My translations will promote greater cross-cultural understanding and respect across linguistic and sexual borders, a map I continue to refine as I grow as a scholar.
