I have been fundraising for the Beating Bowel Cancer charity since 2012, when my mother was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Although she had a successful operation to remove the tunour from her bowel, over the next four years the cancer spread to her lungs and eventally to her brain. She passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2016 after a courageous and dignified battle with this awful disease.
Everything that I sell on my website including the books raises funds for the Beating Bowel Cancer charity, and I do what I can to help raise awareness about bowel cancer.
