I am Shyama Singh, age 63 years. Love the world of books from my childhood. My first poem was published when I was in class IX and first story was published after a year, of course in my school's magazine. Have written a lot since then. Poems, articles, stories are published in various local magazines. I started translation in 1994. I translate from English/Bengali to Hindi. Worked as Head of Department of Hindi in an ICSE School in Kolkata. Have taken VRS and now working as freelance translator. Have translated 20 books so far, published by renowned publishers of India, such as Rajkamal Prakashan, Re-Madhav, Asia Publishing co. etc.
