My name is Reyna Sánchez, I'm 24 and I'm from Spain.
I'm a professional translator specializing in audiovisual translation (subtitling), scientific and technical translation, research papers, and blog articles. I have experience in teaching foreign languages, too. I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting (Universidad de Murcia) and currently, I'm studying a MA in Specialized Translation (Universidad de Vic). I also studied Laurea in Lingue Straniere per la Comunicazione Internazionale for a year in Italy (Università Degli Studi di Catania). Besides, I'm a member of the Spanish Association of Translators, Proofreaders, and Interpreters (ASETRAD).
Among other institutions, I have worked as translator and proofreader for the Edaphology and Applied Biology Centre (CEBAS), attached to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). My enthusiasm for the translation world has also led me to translate voluntarily for the international organization TED, and for the platform Translators Without Borders. Currently, I combine translation with consecutive interpretation and I offer my services as a professional from my website. In addition, I collaborate with other colleagues in the development of a new translation platform, iGlobers.
