I worked as a bilingual secretary in the Business Development department and then in the International department of a Spanish financial services firm for twelve years. When I decided to change careers I took several courses on translation in English and French then I took a Master in specialized translation in English (medical, technical and legal). I also hold the IoLET Level 7 Diploma in Translation (QCF) specialized in Business and Social Science issued by the Chartered Institute of Linguists of London. This diploma is very prestigious worldwide among professional translators.
I work for translation agencies and particulars and I am also involved in books' translation through Babelcube. I have translated an historical essay by Nicholas Vulich and the novel Sultana by Lisa J. Yarde. Both works have been published to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc. Also I have completed the translation of two childrens' books by Kaz Campbell and Katrina Katler, both books are having good sales. I have also translated two books on Business and Economics by Danai Kroukou regarding the Chinese business world and most recently I have been involved in the translation of a series of books by Elias Zapple that have been published to a number of sales channels and which I really, really hope they will sell well in the future.
I have a passion for books and I love my job!!
