I am a freelance Italian translator currently translating from English and Spanish into Italian. I fell in love with English when I was a child and I grew up listening to English pop and rock songs and reading English and Spanish books. I have a Bachelor degree in English and Spanish studies. I am a quick learner and a multi-skilled and reliable translator. I am well mannered, articulate and fully aware of multicultural issues. Furthermore, I am flexible in the ability to adapt to challenges when they arise. At the same time, I am aware of professional roles and boundaries and I hope I will always be growing as a translator since, according to me, the greatest artist is great because of what you see testified in his work, but the greatest translator is great because of his invisibility. My skills involve intense concentration for long periods of time and attention to the very tiniest of details.I would like to work for a novelist. I translated a collection of poems written by the Italian American poet Maria Mazziotti Gillan and several literary books while attending University.
