I have diversified interests and occupations. I am mainly a basic/secondary teacher, but I am also an actress at ATEF (Funchal) and I am very interested in translation, having already worked in the area and editing texts in Portuguese and English teacher

Born on 20th August 1966; Finished Bachelor degree as Técnica de Turismo in 1986 and as Guia Intérprete in 1987. Worked as a tourist guide in Madeira for 13 years with different local agencies in: Portuguese, English, French; Italian.

1991 - Started the acting course at TEF (Funchal); Became an actress for the company in 1995; performed several roles; been a dramaturgist and stage director...

1993/1998 - Licenciatura in Portuguese/English teaching course at Madeira University; Became a teacher at Escola do Estreito de Câmara de Lobos.

December 1998/July 2002 - Became a lecturer at Universidade da Madeira in the English and German department; taught English for different univeristy courses (e.g.Business).

September 2002/2008- Teacher at CEPAM - Conservatório - Escola Profissional das Artes; taught English; Dramaturgy; Interpretation; Aesthetics.

From 2008 I have been teaching English (and Portuguese) at Escola Básica dos 2º e 3º Ciclos do Caniço.
