French-English-Chinese translator and bookworm!

Hello,

I am a French translator, I have a Master's in Chinese and English translation from the University of Montpellier in France. I also have a Master's in Chinese literature and civilization. I currently live in Auckland, New Zealand.

I have excellent writing, reading and comprehension skills in native and source languages. I have a cultural knowledge of English speaking countries and Asia-Pacific. I have a passion for books and I would love to translate them all the time! Recently I helped translate and proofread The Perfect Date by Melita Joy. I really enjoyed it and I want to do one on my own.  

I have worked for a translation agency in Los Angeles where I translated various documents. I also worked as client care manager, so I have great time management skills. 

My main areas of expertise are: Arts (proofreading of a novel and artistic brochure for Art Basel Hong Kong), medical, financial (translation of interviews regarding european banks), audiovisual (as part of a course: extract from « Pirates of the Caribbean » and « balzac and the chinese seamstress »), terminology (as part of a course: paper on marine biology and pathologies of dolphins), architecture (translation of a brochure for an I-site in France).
