If the door is open, you can insert another key from the opposite side to prevent the broken piece from being pushed further into the lock.
Try a Screwdriver and a Second Key
This method works best if the door is open. Insert a second key from the opposite side until it’s partially visible. Then, lightly tap the back of the inserted key with the handle of a screwdriver. This force can dislodge the broken piece, pushing it forward and out of the lock. Once exposed, you can pull it out with pliers or a nail clipper.
