Born in Utah, raised in Michigan, I learned German in High School and decided to study it at the university level, although majoring in English. After my sophomore year, I decided to switch my major to German to become a translator. I love translation and I love books, especially graphic novels, children's books and YA. My great-grandfather and grandfather both served in Germany in the American Airforce, which sparked my interest in German and my love for the language. I love how the German language works and how it changes how you think.
