Literature Major. Strong emphasis on Creative Writing. I have published and won awards in poetry and fiction. Native English and Spanish speaker.

I was born in Costa Rica where I learned Spanish. I moved to London at the age for 3 where I learned English. Then moved back at the age of 6 a native speaker of both. Since then, they have been oppostive forces and intrinsic parts of myself.

I have a love for language and its capabilities. I studied at Carleton College where I got my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. I have studied Creative Writing at an advanced level in both poetry and prose and did my senior thesis on bilingualism in literature for which I got the highest grade possible. I love translating. I translate creatively and directly. I translate all of my works. 

I moved back to Costa Rica and have worked as a Spanish to English/English to Spanish freelance translator on my free time. 

I'm also a proud dog parent of the most beautifil yellow lab in the world, a life long lover of Salsa music, and a conga drummer.
