I am a writer of YA fiction from the Netherlands. In my home country, some of my books are trade-published, but since the smaller publishing houses in Holland don't have a lot of reach abroad, I decided to start translating my own work from Dutch into English last year. Since then, I've published quite some YA dystopian and paranormal romance books. The Island was in the Amazon Kindle Dystopian Top 100 for most of June 2013, and its sequels The Waves and The Deep has also been received favorably.
