I’m an enthusiastic person with a passion for translation. For me, translating is much more than just a way to make a living: it’s my whole life. I work with three languages: Spanish (mother tongue), English (mother tongue) and Catalan (advanced), although I don’t normally translate into Catalan.
I’m very responsible, hard-working and, besides, I always meet the deadlines. I’m easy to work with, I develop a positive work environment and I take constructive criticism well, so communication with me just flows easily. I’m also detail-oriented; for me, small details make a great difference. I’m eager to learn new things and can adapt to new situations quickly. A difficult term, sentence or document is not a problem for me: it’s a real challenge. I’m driven to succeed and I don’t mind taking risks. When translating a document, I pay attention to every single detail, I always work my hardest and I try to think outside the box to create the most suitable translation for the client.
My objective is clear: to use every tool at hand and every resource to help clients with their communication. If what your clients need is an effective and natural document in the target language — a document that doesn't look like a translation at all — I'm definitely the translator you're looking for. Their message will reach their target audience, using the language they speak. And how do I achieve this? I’m inventive in my work process, I have very quick turnover time, I’m able to work long and hard hours, I’m a meticulous planner and, moreover, I put my all in every project I work on.
Regarding my experience, I’ve collaborated with world-known brands and organisations in different sectors: world-leading smartphone companies, international sports
associations and teams, beauty and health-care corporations, governmental organisations, footwear brands, global e-commerce leaders, giants in the hospitality sector and lots of other brands and enterprises. I also collaborate with different NGOs, such as Translators Without Borders, The Red Cross in Alicante and the UN Volunteering Programme. I also subtitle TED Talks.
