1996                Ph.D. at the Department of Near Eastern Languages, Civilizations and Archaeology of the Istituto Universitario Orientale, Naples, Italy, thesis topic “Political use of Archaeology in Israel”.

1984                Internship at the Restoration Atelier of the Kurpfälzisches Museum in Heidelberg, Germany.

1982-1984       Graduate Student at the Istituto per l’Arte e il Restauro in Florence, Italy; absolved with Diploma di Qualifica Professionale.                                                    

1999-2014       Fellow at the Albright Institute, Jerusalem.
