Passion, efficiency, attention to detail or outstanding performance are some of the words that define my way of working. I am truly in love with my job and that is why I always try to push the envelope and do my best to get optimal results.

My name is Andrea and I am a Spanish freelancer. I hold a Degree in Translation and Interpreting and a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Translation. My language pairs are English, French and Italian into Spanish (with a provable advanced level).
I have a sound grasp in the journalistic, economic, academic and literary fields, as well as international experience (Belgium and the United Kingdom). At university, my dissertation was about literary translation and subsequently I translated the tale "How Copley Banks slew Captain Sharkey" within the book "Cuentos de piratas y otras historias del mar ", published by Tres Fronteras Ediciones. I have successfully translated five novels: "Donde habitan los ángeles: alma antigua", "Lo que nos falta por hacer", "El viaje del destino", "Vida de azafata", and "Toma uno cada noche".
Besides, as one of my main goals is to keep up to date with my mother tongue, apart from being an avid reader, I frequently take Spanish courses, being the last one "Correction, style and variations of the Spanish language".
Furthermore, my extensive knowledge of translation, the use of CAT tools, and reliable sources help me achieve the closest matches in context and meaning.
