A certified English and French to Spanish translator, I started working in this area a few months before finishing my studies. I have worked mainly with institutional, technical and medical texts and news articles, but my real passion are books.
Ever since I learned how to read, books became my friends. I plunged into the story and became the characters. I remember being still awake at 2, 3 and 4 in the morning (even though I had to go to school the following day) because I wanted to read "just one more chapter". When I learned languages, I discovered a new world of authors and stories I could explore.
One of the reasons I studied translation was to be able to make information and stories available in Spanish, so that people who speak this language would have the opportunity to read and enjoy the same stories I have.
