Every Believer is attached to God through the indwelling Holy Spirit. A spiritual attachment of this kind is the one between God and humanity and is considered a sacred YADA relationship, which implies: holy intimacy, covenant, and unique oneness. The marriage union is the closest representation of the relationship between Christ and the Believer, but the YADA relationship is greater.
We’ll be looking at the human attachment as a way to glean some understanding of the awesome attachment the believer has with the Living God through Christ. Human attachment begins in infancy and is usually, first, experienced between a baby and its primary caregiver. Professional psychologists and others in the field offer many theories and explanations for attachment which I have concluded are the intangible ties that intimately connect and bind one person to another.
A healthy attachment that consists of these intangible ties, will grow, develop, and ideally last a lifetime. However, if the human attachment is not nourished properly, the strength of the attachment may weaken, or become lax over time with either one or both of the attached parties. Attached people usually like to hang around with each other or at least be in close proximity with one another.
